About the website

This website has been developed to give others the opportunity to learn more about God and the Bible. On the website the reasons why it is believed that God has spoken to our world in and through the pages of the Bible are presented, together with what God has spoken there and how we should respond to Him. It is hoped that the information has been presented in such a way that those who may be learning about the Bible for the very first time will find it helpful.

We begin by looking at the Bible as a unique collection of books which has been carefully copied and passed down to us over time. We learn that the New Testament is a reliable source of information concerning the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. We establish from the New Testament that Jesus is the Son of God who came to bear witness to the truth and save mankind from sin. We then see how Jesus becomes the cornerstone of our faith in both the Old and the New Testaments as the inspired Word of God.

Finally, embracing the Bible as God’s Word, we explore what God has revealed to our world in the Bible. We learn there how God has demonstrated His love for us by sending Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. We also discover God’s will for our lives as it has been explained to us through the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles. In discussing the will of God we are also careful to point out that one day God will judge the world when each person will give an account of himself to God.

The website was published online in May 2023 and is a “work in progress”. Existing content is revised and new content added on a regular basis. As alluded to already the website has been developed with the hope that those who are just beginning to learn about the Bible, perhaps for the very first time, will find the content helpful and informative. Those seeking to learn more about the Bible and the New Testament are encouraged to read the Bible for themselves as they study about the Bible. A good place to start is with the Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him.
