Many have been led to believe that the New Testament is unreliable, being told that it is based on second hand accounts passed from person to person by word of mouth. But the testimony we find in the New Testament is that which was written by eyewitnesses! The Apostle Peter wrote this:
“For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.” (2 Peter 1:16)
